9 Locks Art Group returns to the Waterside Gallery

Brierley Hill’s Nine Locks Art Group is returning to the Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust’s Waterside Gallery this winter. After the success of their exhibition earlier this year, the group of talented artists have created a brand new display. Led by their tutor, Tim Nash, this small gathering of like-minded people meets every Monday at Brierley Hill Neighbourhood Learning Centre to discuss and develop their painting skills.

“We’re so excited for Nine Locks Art Group to be back at the Portal’s gallery space”, said Holly Wain, Heritage Activities Assistant at Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust. “We are so happy that the Waterside Gallery is being used by local artists with a range of styles and subjects”.

Works on display range canal-side views, winter landscapes, and studies of nature, in a variety of different styles and media.

9 locks art group’s exhibition will be on display from 22nd November to 22nd January 2018. All artworks are for sale and vary in price from £40 to £140. The exhibition is free to visit in the Portal Visitor Centre, 501 Birmingham New Road, Dudley, DY1 4SB.
