Halloween 2016

Another year, another fabulous Halloween celebration!

This year it was all about the family spooky fun for us. As we have done for many years, we ran our spooky family Halloween boat trips, this year for four evenings up to and including 31st October. Over 1500 passengers boarded our boats for a terrifying trip into the caverns which were decorated for Halloween. On their way, they enjoyed a very special performance from Groovy UV.

Visitors on the day of Halloween itself were lucky enough to take part in extra fun activities put on by the students of Walsall College. Spider racing, ghost bowling, hat making and more were all on offer in our learning room. This is the second year we’ve worked in partnership with Walsall and we look forward to doing so again in the future – the students were a fabulous addition to the evening!

We also ran our popular holiday craft activity boats in the mornings in half term week, with a spooky theme. Visitors made ghosts, hats and potions in our creepy craft room. Children and adults alike told us what a fun time they’d had.

It was a very fun week, and we’re looking forward to doing it all again next year.
