Limestone Links – Free Community Arts Project

We’re very excited to announce our free community arts project ‘Limestone Links’. We want to invite local residents of our four limestone hills to get creative and feel inspired by our shared history.

Fancy having a go at a haiku? Feel like telling a story set in our tunnels and caverns? Inspired to get arty and paint a picture of our local area?

We want to hear from you and find out what Dudley’s limestone means to you. What does it mean to you to live and work in Dudley? How do you think our history has shaped where we live today?

Our project is open to all, whether you are an artist or poet in the local area, or its your very first time having a go!

If you live or work in and around Castle Hill, Wren’s Nest, Hurst Hill and Sedgley Beacon, we would love to hear from you!

We’re looking forward to making links between our community by displaying these creative works in our visitor centre, The Portal. We will collate written responses into an e-book that will be given to each participant and will be available to buy digitally.

Deadline for entries : 31st July  2017
