Have you been to our stylish canal side eatery, The Gongoozler yet?
One of our Community Ambassador volunteers, John Chapman has written a sparkling review of our new cafe, The Gongoozler. It’s so good in fact, that we just had to share it!
I take the opportunity of eating in The Gongoozler restaurant as many times as I can when I volunteer. It’s a really stylish and modern eatery with lovely views over the canal and tunnel entrance into the Limestone Mines and Caverns. It even has a south facing balcony for the better weather, which I look forward to using in the coming warmer months! The word Gongoozler means to sit back, relax and watch the world go by alongside the canal, and this really is a great place to gongoozle!
With good quality freshly made cakes, cookies and scones and proper coffee (although I am very partial to the hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream myself!) and all kinds of other tempting experiences, this really is a great place for a spot of lunch. If that’s not enough, the offers on hot food and the tasty evening menu, together with alcoholic drinks both on tap & in bottles, makes for an experience all visitors will relish.
Why not pop down this Easter and try it for yourself!
