This Half Term, take our Underground Tour through the caverns, tunnels and basins that canalside wildlife call home. Badgers and Bats, Foxes and Frogs, Swans and Storks. Look out for the tell tale signs of where they live, as our skippers point out the mass of wildlife on the trip
Explorer Lab Activities – take home treats
Back on dry land our Explorers Lab is back, with a new Night & Day activity trail. From animal footprints to butterfly designing, there’s something for all the family
Stay and Explore the area
A new accessible trail has been put together, to get the family to experience nature in a way that we often take for granted. See, Smell and Listen to complete the trail. Before heading back to the Gongoozler with your completed sheet for homemade lemonade for every child (that’s on us!)
Canal Feelings & Garden Key Holes
Help us create a research map, by telling us how the canal and the environment make you feel, it’ll be a permanent display, which we’ll add to over time.
And come and see our showcase of Cotwall End Artwork, as they took inspiration from Alice in Wonderland to design their very own nature gardens through the key holes
Trips through the day
Trips run daily every 30 minutes, from 10:30 to 16:00. Book online to secure your seat, but if you’ve been before you can visit us free for the next 12 months! Availability is limited and only at our box office. We’ve freed up more walk up seats though, so we’ll be able to get you on this unique trip.
