The boat crew role involves helping to moor up the boats, loading and unloading customers, interacting with customers and, in the unlikely case of an emergency, getting the boat to safety should the skipper become incapacitated. Training will be provided for this. There is opportunity for development through training and getting involved in the whole offer the Trust delivers. The ideal candidate will have experience in a customer facing role but training will also be given.

Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust is seeking a Director to join its Enterprise Board.
This is a voluntary position with the successful candidate helping this popular and longstanding charity reach its potential and become a sustainable and vibrant part of the community. The world is changing and charities such as ours must adapt to stay robust and relevant in light of these changes. This is an ideal time to join us and help shape our future so we can continue to preserve the unique tunnels, caverns and waterways which we rescued over fifty years ago.
Enterprise is the wholly owned trading arm of the Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust and it manages our Gift Shop, Catering, Corporate and Commercial Special Events such as concerts, Christmas, Halloween and venue hire. We are seeking candidates with skills, experience and expertise therefore in any of these area’s or a passion to be a part of our organisation and help us achieve our goals. Commitment is 6 x Enterprise meetings, 1 x AGM and 1 x Board Away Day. There are also opportunities to get involved in all the boat festivals, activities and events we offer, as you wish.
