Celebrate Black Country Day With Us!

Come aboard The Vic Smallshire, our covered dining boat, and enjoy a 3 hour cruise around the canals of Dudley and Tipton. During the trip our knowledgeable skippers and crew will be on hand to provide a light-hearted commentary with a Black Country twist.
Included in your ticket price is a bostin Black Country Picnic, which consists of the following:
Cheese, onion and black pudding cobs, scratchings, a selection of savouries and other nibbles to give you a real taste of the Black Country. A dessert is also provided. You can wash all of this down with a local Black Country brewed ale, glass of prosecco or can of pop.
We can cater for dietary requirements, just get in touch for more info!
For your comfort there is a washroom onboard as well as a licensed bar, soft music and friendly crew to ensure your evening is as enjoyable as can be.
The boat departs promptly at 6 pm, so please arrive at least 15 minutes before to ensure you have time to board.
£27.50 per person
6pm departure – the cruise lasts roughly 3 hours.
Vegetarian options are available; please let us know your requirements once you have booked. If you have particular dietary requirements please contact emily@dctt.org.uk who will work with our caterers to see what we can offer for you.
Please note; we reserve the right to change the menu at any time and unfortunately we cannot guarantee a nut-free environment. A minimum of ten diners will be required for the trip to run – in the event of cancellation due to low numbers we will offer an alternative date. In the event of cancellation due to canal closures or problems with the boat we will offer an alternative date. The picnic bags are not included in the cost of the package. All diners will require a ticket regardless of age – if you wish to bring an infant who will not be eating, please let us know before you book.
