Tunnel Tots is Back!
Our always popular Tunnel Tots Trips are back, and we’ve got some exciting updates and news.
Tunnel Tots is now bigger and better than ever before.
With more boats and more seats, we’ll be able to take even more of your little ones on this exciting trip through our tunnels. with a trip at 9.30am and 10am.
A new online only booking system, thanks to your feedback, means you can secure your seats in advance.
And we’re super excited to announce that we’ve partnered with Adventure Street, a local role play centre offering families the chance to enjoy a stay and play session, with both a boat trip and play session right here at Dudley Canal & Caverns every Wednesday.
Visitor can chose from three ticket options, Tunnel Tots only, a Combi Tunnel Tots & Adventure Street Session, or Adventure Street Role Play only ticket.
If you’re going on the Tunnel Tots Boat trip everyone needs a ticket, but only your little ones need an Adventure Street ticket.

New for 2025 – Adventure Street On the Go at Dudley Canal & Caverns
New Partnership for 2025 – Welcome Adventure Street on the Go
This Autumn we’re so excited to announce that Adventure Street Role Play Sessions is coming to Dudley Canal & Caverns every Wednesday alongside our Tunnel Tots offer!
These fun, hands-on sessions are perfect for little ones to explore real-world role play in a creative setting.
Extend your stay with one of these brilliant sessions straight after your tunnel tot boat, and enjoy a coffee and cake whilst the little ones fill their imagination.
Join us on Wednesdays for a unique blend of imaginative play and underground adventure!
From fixing cars as a mechanic, fixing hair at the salon or fixing crime as a police officer, there’s something for everyones imagination.
Adventure Street sessions last for 40 minutes and cost £5.95 per child. Please note that only children require a ticket for Adventure Street Sessions.

Boats depart promptly at 9.30am and 10am, so please arrive early to avoid missing your trip.
Tunnel Tots tickets are £2.50 and must be booked online. Visitors of all ages require an individual ticket.
Don’t forget to bring a jacket! Our tunnels can get a little chilly!
Our boat trips last for 20 minutes and afterwards, families can enjoy a warm drink or snack from our Coffee Hut.
You can also extend your visit by booking a 40-minute role play session, provided by Adventure Street.
Adventure Street Sessions run throughout the morning, if you’ve booked a Tunnel Tot & Adventure Street ticket, your Adventure Street Session starts after your Tunnel Tot trip
Just want to book an Adventure Street Session, use the link above – these are booked time slots. There will be a limited number of walk up tickets also available, but this will be on a first come first serve basis
There may be some occasions to ensure the best experience for you and your little ones, you may be asked to board later, than your booked departure. This won’t affect your ticket or your whole experience.

• Tickets must be booked online.
• Tickets cost £2.50 per visitor, making it a budget-friendly, family morning out.
• Each child can bring a maximum of two accompanying grown-ups! To make sure we have space for lots of little explorers.
Dudley Canal & Caverns is an accessible and family-friendly visitor attraction, with step free access to our towpath.
Pushchairs can be stored on the towpath during the boat ride and baby changing facilities are available.
