Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust named Hospitality, Leisure and Retail Business of the Year.
In a spectacular and highly competitive awards event Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust were delighted to be awarded the prestigious Hospitality, Leisure and Retail Business of the Year Award at the Express and Star Business Awards 2024.
The awards and event shone a spotlight on business talent across the Black Country and Staffordshire and was attended by more than 300 guests all celebrating the fact that their hard work and dedication had been recognised.
Trustee for Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust – Mr Ian Watson attended the event with the Chief Executive Mrs Traci Dix-Williams and both commented that
“just to get to the last three finalists in the category has been amazing – to then go on and win the award as a shock but we know all of the team back on site will be ecstatic with the news and so proud of the achievement”.
Mr Watson went on to say the three finalists in the category, the Trust along with The RAF Cosford Air Show and The Mount Hotel Country Manor and Golf had given the judges a lot to think about when making their final decision and that all had done themselves proud.
