Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust was surprised but delighted to win two awards at the recent Dudley Borough Community Awards.

Managers and Trustees attended the inaugural Dudley Borough Community awards on 23rd November 2023.

Having nominated ourselves for the Business Of The Year Award we were amazed to find our we had also been nominated for Environmental Project of the Year too.

Not expecting anything but proud of ourselves for being finalists we were blown away to receive, at first the Environmental Project Award, followed by the Business Of The Year. This was against tough competition and very worthy finalists.

The awards seek to highlight all the wonderful things happening across the Dudley Borough and to shine a light on our region and its many success stories as reflected in the local newspapers every day.

The awards, which were spread out across 12 categories, offered an opportunity to recognise the individuals and organisations that go the extra mile for the community. To hear more about the awards and the winners on the evening please follow this link.
