Dudley Canal and Tunnel Trust is seeking to recruit Trustees to join its board and help shape the future of this vibrant Charitable Trust.

Operating from our site for over sixty years we have been preserving and engaging visitors with an amazing and unique underground environment which dates back over 428 million years and which is an Ancient Scheduled Monument and part of the UNESCO Black Country Geopark.

Treasurer

This position will help the Trust and Enterprises develop, monitor and report on all its financial transactions and money handling polices and processes.

Reporting to the Board, the Treasurer will ensure the Trustees remain well  informed in terms of financial performance, statutory legislation and financial duties on line with its Charitable Trust status. The post holder will also operate as a signatory for the Trust and work closely with the CEO and Finance Manager.

The Trust is seeking to recruit passionate and invested members to join its Board and bring with them skills, experience and insights which they are willing to share.

Covering interests such as geology, industrial history, technological advances, canals and water ways or managing departments operating in events, health and safety, fundraising, project management, community and outreach and education we are sure to have something to interest you or give you opportunities to try something new.
